Privacy Policy — Batch Watermark: Logo & Text
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy covers the Android app Batch Watermark: Logo & Text, published by VELTIS LABS LLC ("we"). It is published at https://apps.digitalshijil.com/watermark/privacy/
The short version
Your photos are marked on your phone and never uploaded. Your stamps, logos and batch history stay on your phone. We have no account system, no server and no analytics, and we never see your photos or your data.
Photos
- You choose photos with Android's Photo Picker. The app can read only the photos you pick, and asks for no photo, media or storage permission.
- The app reads each picked photo, draws your watermark on a copy and saves the copy as a new file in a folder you choose (through Android's folder picker) or hands it to the share sheet when you ask it to. Your original photos are never changed.
- The app remembers which photos belong to a batch (a reference to each photo, not a copy) so a batch you leave can be finished later. Deleting the batch, or all data, removes those references.
- Photo details (EXIF), including where a photo was taken, are removed from the marked copies by default. With Pro you can choose to keep them; the originals are not touched either way.
What the app stores, and where
- On your phone only: your stamps (the text, typeface, colours, sizes and positions you set), copies of logo images you choose for them, your batches (which photos, per-photo positions, export settings and each photo's result) and your settings.
- Temporary files: while a batch runs, each marked photo is written to the app's private cache before it is copied to your folder; batches you share are kept in that cache until you delete the batch or all data.
- Android backup: if you have Android's own backup turned on, Android may include the app's stamps, logos and settings in your Google account backup, as it does for other apps. Your photos are not part of it. You can turn this off in your phone's settings. The Pro purchase record is excluded from backups.
Network access
The app removes the internet permission from its own manifest: it cannot open a network connection, and it sends nothing to us or to anyone else. A build check fails if a library ever adds the permission back.
Google Play billing diagnostics
The optional one-time Pro unlock is sold through Google Play. Google Play's billing library, included in the app to handle that purchase, can record diagnostic logs about purchase calls (for example, that the connection to the Play Store failed). Following Google's guidance that a library's data handling counts as the app's, we disclose this in the Data safety section as App info and performance → Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required. We do not receive these logs. Payment itself is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's privacy policy; we never see your card or payment details.
What the app does not do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no advertising ID, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no AI features.
- No uploading, no cloud processing and no watermark removal of any kind.
- The app never adds its own name or logo to your photos.
- No access to your contacts, camera, microphone or location.
Notifications
When your first batch starts, the app asks for permission to show notifications, so it can show a running batch's progress and tell you when it has finished. If you say no, the batch still runs and its progress is shown in the app.
Your control over your data
- Export all my data (Settings) saves your stamps, logos, batch history and settings as one JSON file where you choose.
- Delete all data (Settings) removes every stamp, logo, batch and setting from the app. Photos you have exported are your files and stay where you saved them.
- Uninstalling the app deletes its data from the phone.
Children
The app is a general photo tool for people aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the address above with a new date.
