Site Diary is a daily site record for construction projects. This policy says what happens to the information you put into it. In short: it stays on your phone.

What you record stays on your device

Projects, day sheets, crew and hours, plant, deliveries, delays, instructions and variations, visitor and health and safety notes, photos, signatures, amendments and punch list items are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. Site Diary has no account and no sign-in, runs no server, and contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK. We, DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC, never receive your diary.

The app has no camera, location, contacts or storage permission. Photos are taken with your camera app or chosen with the Android photo picker, and a copy is kept inside the app. The site address is typed by you; the app never reads your location.

When information leaves your phone

Only when you choose to:

• Sharing a report or photo. A PDF, CSV or date-stamped photo is created on your phone and handed to the app you pick (email, messaging, a file manager). What happens next is governed by that app.
• Export and backup. "Export all my data" and "Back up everything" write a file to a location you choose. Keep backups somewhere safe: they contain your full diary.
• Android backup. If Android's own backup is on for your Google account, Android may back up the app's database, settings, signatures and logos to your Google account, under Google's terms. Site photos are not included in that cloud copy.

Google Play Billing

Site Diary Pro is sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google; we never see your card or payment details. The Google Play Billing library in the app sends Google diagnostic information about the billing library itself. This is declared in the Play Store's Data safety section as "App info and performance: Diagnostics, collected, not shared". Notifications

If you turn on the end-of-day reminder, the app asks for permission to show notifications. The reminder is scheduled on the phone. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Deleting your data

Settings → "Delete all data" erases every project, day sheet, photo, signature and setting from the app, and the app starts again as if newly installed. Uninstalling the app also removes it. Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

Children

Site Diary is a professional tool for adults and is not directed at children under 18.

Record-keeping, not advice

For personal record-keeping. Not an official document. Site Diary helps you keep an accurate, dated record; it does not give legal advice and does not guarantee the outcome of any claim or dispute.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at the address above with a new effective date, and material changes are noted in the app's release notes.
