Who the app is for
The app is a record book for beauty professionals (hair colourists, permanent-makeup and microblading artists, lash and brow technicians). The professional uses it to keep notes about their own clients.
Your clients' information stays on your device
The professional stores their clients' names, phone numbers, notes, tags, allergy and sensitivity notes, patch-test dates, consent records, service formulas, prices and before/after photos in the app. All of it is stored only on the professional's own device, in the app's private storage.
- Nothing is uploaded. The app has no account, no sign-in and no server. We (DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC) never receive, see or store any client record or photo.
- Excluded from automatic backup. The client database and client photos are excluded from Android's automatic cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer, so they are not copied to a Google account. Only the app's own settings (such as the currency) are included.
- Leaving the device is always the professional's choice. Client records leave the phone only when the professional shares a client PDF or CSV file, or saves an export or backup file, to a place they choose. Anything shared that way is then under the professional's control.
- No contacts access. Phone numbers are typed; the app never reads the address book.
- Photos come from the camera app or the Android Photo Picker. The app has no camera or storage permission and cannot browse the photo gallery. A picked photo is copied into the app's private storage and is not visible in the gallery.
- No messages to clients. The app never contacts a client. Follow-up reminders are shown only to the professional, on their own device, and name no client.
The professional is responsible for obtaining their clients' consent to record their information and photos, and for handling it in line with the privacy laws that apply to their business. The app helps by letting the professional record that consent was obtained and attach a photo of a signed paper form; it does not create consent forms.
Allergy, sensitivity and patch-test notes are stored exactly as typed. The app gives no medical advice and makes no judgement about them.
Information collected by Google Play
The app uses Google Play Billing to sell the optional Pro upgrade. Play Billing sends Google diagnostic information about the billing library, and Google processes your purchase under the Google Play terms and Google's privacy policy. For Play's Data safety form this is declared as:
App info and performance: Diagnostics, collected, not shared, required (Play Billing).
We receive only what Google Play reports to every developer (for example, that a purchase happened and its country), never the content of your records. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting SDK.
App lock
The optional app lock uses Android's own fingerprint, face or screen-lock prompt. The app never sees or stores biometric data; Android only tells it whether you were confirmed.
Deleting data
Settings → "Delete all data" removes every client, visit, photo and setting from the device. Uninstalling the app also removes them. Because nothing is stored on a server, there is nothing else to delete. Backup files you saved yourself are deleted by you.
Children
The app is intended for professionals aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
