Reseller Inventory & Profit: Privacy Policy

Reseller Inventory & Profit ("the app") is published by VELTIS LABS LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we"). This policy explains what happens to information in the app. It is published at https://apps.digitalshijil.com/reseller/privacy/ and applies to the Android app on Google Play.

The short version

• Your items, photos, prices, sales, fees, shipping, sourcing trips, bulk lots, platforms and settings are stored only on your phone.
• There is no account, no sign-in, no marketplace login and no server. We never receive your records, and the app never connects to any marketplace.
• The app has no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting SDK of ours, and it does not read your location.
• Two Google libraries in the app send Google their own diagnostic information: Google Play Billing, and Google's barcode scanner when you choose to scan (see below).

What the app stores on your phone

Everything you enter: item titles, notes, SKUs, barcodes and storage bins; where and when you bought each item and what it cost; the mileage you type; which platforms it is listed on and at what price; sale prices, shipping charged and paid, fees and other costs; carrier names and tracking numbers you type; returns; sourcing trips and their expenses; bulk lots and how their cost was split; your platform names and fee profiles; your settings; and photos you take or choose for an item. Photos are copied into the app's private storage and re-saved at a smaller size, which also removes location tags the original photo may have carried.

This information stays in the app's private storage on your device. If you use Android's own backup (Google backup or moving to a new phone), Android may include the app's records and photos in that backup under your Google account; that is controlled by your device settings, not by us.

What leaves your phone, and when

• Files you choose to share. When you export the year-end report (PDF or CSV), shelf labels (PDF) or "Export all my data" (a ZIP of spreadsheet files and your photos), the file goes only where you send it from the share sheet or the file picker.
• Google Play Billing. To show the prices of Pro, make a purchase and confirm it on later starts, the app uses the Google Play Billing library. Google collects diagnostic information about these requests. Payment details are handled by Google Play and never reach the app or us.
• Google's barcode scanner. When you tap Scan, Google Play services shows its own camera screen and hands the app only the code it read. The app never sees the camera image and declares no camera permission. Google's scanner (part of ML Kit) sends Google diagnostic and usage information, such as device model, OS version, app version, performance metrics, event types and error codes, together with an installation identifier. • In Play's Data safety terms these are declared as: App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required; and Device or other IDs > Device or other IDs: collected, not shared, required. Google's privacy policy applies to them: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Nothing else. The app's own code makes no network request, and it works fully without a signal.

Permissions

• No camera permission. Barcodes are read by Google Play services' own scanner; item photos are taken by your phone's camera app, which hands one picture back to this app, or chosen with the Android photo picker.
• No location, microphone, contacts, notification or storage permission.
• Google Play Billing and Google's diagnostics transport add billing, internet and network-state permissions to the app package. The app's own code uses none of them for anything else.

Your choices and deleting your data

• Settings > Export all my data saves every record and photo to a file you choose.
• Settings > Delete all data erases every item, photo, trip, lot, platform and setting from the phone and returns the app to a fresh install. Uninstalling the app also removes everything.
• Because we never receive your records, there is nothing for us to delete on a server. Diagnostics sent by Google's libraries are held by Google under its own policy. A Pro purchase or subscription is kept by Google Play under your Google account.

Children

The app is intended for adults (18 and over) running a reselling business and is not directed at children. We collect no personal information from anyone.

No tax, legal or financial advice

The app adds up the figures you enter. It calculates no tax and gives no tax, legal or financial advice; the year-end report is for your records, and you should confirm anything tax-related with a tax professional. Fee profiles are numbers you type: the app does not know any marketplace's current fees and is not affiliated with any marketplace. Documents the app creates are for personal record-keeping: For personal record-keeping. Not an official document.

Changes

If the app's behaviour changes, this policy is updated first and the date above changes with it.
