Photo Widget — Privacy Policy

Photo Widget is made by DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC ("we"). This policy says exactly what the app does with your information. The short version: your photos never leave your phone.
Your photos
- The app reads only the photos you pick. You choose photos with Android's own photo picker, one selection at a time. The app has no permission to browse your gallery, and it cannot see any photo you did not pick.
- Your photos stay on your phone. The app keeps Android's permission to read each photo you picked, and a small resized copy of it in its private cache so a widget can be redrawn quickly. That cache is deleted whenever you choose "Delete all data", and Android can clear it at any time.
- We never upload a photo anywhere. No photo, and nothing about what is in a photo, is ever sent to us, to Google or to anyone else. The app does not analyse your photos: no face detection, no tagging, no scanning of any kind.
What stays on your phone
Your widget settings (which photos, the frame, colours, captions, what a tap does), your albums, and a few app flags are stored on your phone only. You can export all of it as a file from Settings → Export all my data, and erase all of it from Settings → Delete all data. If your phone's Android backup is switched on, Android may include the widget settings and albums in your device backup, under your own Google account; the photos themselves are not part of the app's backup.
What leaves your phone
The app has no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting service. It sends nothing of its own anywhere.
The one exception is purchases. Photo Widget Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. When you buy Pro, or when the app checks with Google Play that you own it, Google Play handles the payment under Google's own privacy policy; we never see your payment details. The Google Play Billing library inside the app also sends Google diagnostic logs about those billing requests (for example whether a connection to Google Play succeeded). These diagnostic logs contain no photos and nothing you type in the app, and they are used only to make purchases work. We do not receive them and cannot delete them.
Children
Photo Widget is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the address above with a new effective date, before the app changes how it handles information.
