Privacy Policy: Horse Care & Stable Log

This policy covers the Android app Horse Care & Stable Log (package com.digitalshijil.horsecare), published by DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC ("we"). It is published at https://apps.digitalshijil.com/horse-care/privacy/ and linked from the app's Settings screen and its Google Play listing.

The short version

Your horse records stay on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics in the app, and we never receive the horses, owners, dates, feeds, photos or costs you enter. The one exception is Google Play Billing, which the app uses to sell Pro: Google's billing library sends diagnostic information to Google.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is stored only in the app's private storage on your device: horses and their details (including microchip and passport numbers you type), livery owners' names and phone numbers you type, care schedules and care records (farrier, worming with egg counts, vaccinations, dental and others), feed charts, the yard board, staff notes, exercise, weight and condition readings, costs, your settings and horse photos. The app has no permission to read your contacts, your location, your photo library or your files. Photos come only from the system camera app or the Android Photo Picker, and only the photo you choose.

What leaves your device

• Google Play Billing. When you view or buy Pro, Google Play handles the purchase under Google's own privacy policy. Its library sends diagnostic information to Google. For Google Play's Data safety form this is declared as: App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required. We do not receive your payment details.
• Files you choose to share. When you share a PDF, a spreadsheet or a backup file, it goes only where you send it from the Android share sheet or file picker.
• Android backup. If you use Android's own backup, your records travel to your own Google account under Google's terms. The purchase cache is excluded.

Nothing else. The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDK and has no server of its own.

Reminders

Care reminders are notifications created on your device from the dates you entered. The app asks for the notification permission only when you turn reminders on.

Your choices and deletion

You can export all of your data at any time (Settings > Export all my data). Settings > Delete all data permanently removes every record, photo, setting and scheduled reminder from the device. Uninstalling the app also removes its data. Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

Not advice, not an official document

The app is a record book. It gives no veterinary advice, dosing or diagnosis; follow your own vet, farrier and therapist. PDFs and exports are for personal record-keeping: For personal record-keeping. Not an official document.

Children

The app is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at the same address with a new "Last updated" date.
