Homework Planner & Timetable: Privacy Policy
Effective 24 September 2026.
Homework Planner & Timetable ("the app") is published by Digital Shijil LLC, 34 N Franklin Ave Suite 687-#5144, Pinedale, WY 82941, USA.
The short version
- The app collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in and no analytics. The only thing that leaves your phone is the anonymous diagnostic logging built into Google's Play Billing library (see Purchases).
- The app contains no advertising and no advertising SDK.
- Everything you enter stays on your phone. The app has no server and sends your planner to nobody.
Many of the people who use this app are students, some of them under 18, so this policy is written to be read by them.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter is stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage:
- your subjects, teachers and rooms
- your timetable, school year, terms and holidays
- your homework, tests and projects, their steps, notes and due dates
- your marks and grade weightings
- photos of worksheets that you choose to attach
- your settings, such as the reminder time
The app does not create an account or ask for your name, email address, school, age or phone number. It does not read your contacts, your location or your other photos.
Photos
When you attach a photo of a worksheet, you pick it with Android's own photo picker. The app sees only the one photo you choose, makes a smaller copy of it inside its own storage, and never uploads it anywhere. The app does not ask for permission to read your photo library.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, Android asks whether the app may show notifications. The reminders are worked out and shown on your phone; nothing is sent over the internet to deliver them. If you say no, the app keeps working and simply shows no reminders.
Purchases
The optional Pro unlock is a single, one-time purchase. There is no subscription. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. The app never sees your card details, billing address or any other payment information. It only asks Google Play whether Pro has been bought on your Google account, so that Pro comes back if you reinstall.
To make that check possible, Google's Play Billing library is part of the app, and Android lists the internet and network-state permissions that library needs. The app itself has no network code and sends none of your planner data anywhere.
Google's Play Billing library also sends Google its own diagnostic logs about how the billing connection is working, for example whether a purchase check succeeded or the connection to the Play Store failed. These logs do not contain anything you typed into the app. We, the developer, do not receive them. The library includes a Google location component, but the app has no location permission and never asks for your location.
Google's handling of purchases is covered by Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Backups
- Export all my data (Settings) writes a ZIP file, holding readable JSON and your worksheet photos, to a place you choose. The app does not send it anywhere; what you do with the file is up to you.
- Android backup: if you have Android's own backup switched on, your planner database and settings may be included in your personal Google backup, as Android does for most apps. Worksheet photos are left out of that cloud backup. The app has no access to that backup.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all my data erases every task, subject, lesson, mark, photo and setting from the app at once, and cancels all scheduled reminders. Uninstalling the app also removes everything it stored.
Advertising, tracking and third parties
There are no ads, no advertising ID, no analytics, no crash-reporting service and no tracking of any kind. Apart from the Play Billing diagnostics described above, which go to Google and not to us, nothing is shared with or sold to anyone.
Children
The app is designed for students aged 13 and over. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, so there is nothing to collect from a child either. The Play Billing diagnostics described above are the same for every user and identify no one.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. A change that would make the app collect data would be announced in the app before it took effect.
