Homeschool Record Keeper ("the app") is published by DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC. This policy explains what the app does with information. Questions: contact@digitalshijil.com.

Children's records stay on your phone

This app holds children's educational records and photographs: names, grade levels, days of instruction, hours by subject, descriptions of lessons, grades and evaluations, reading lists, field trips, curriculum, transcript courses and the work-sample photos you add. All of it is stored only on your device and is never uploaded by the app. There is no account, no sign-in, no cloud service and no server. The developer never receives, sees or stores any of it.

The parent is the user. The app has no screens meant for children and is intended for adults 18 and over.

What leaves the device

• Google Play Billing diagnostics. When the app checks or makes a purchase, Google's billing library sends diagnostic information to Google so purchases work. For the Play Data safety form: App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required. It is handled under Google's privacy policy.
• What you choose to share. A year-end report, transcript, spreadsheet or export leaves the device only when you share or save it, to the app or place you pick.
• Your own device backup. If Android backup is on, the app's records and photos are included in your Google account backup, which only you control.

Nothing else. Photos: not collected. The app has no network permission of its own, no advertising, no advertising ID, no analytics and no crash-reporting service.

Photos

Work samples come only through the Android Photo Picker, so the app sees only the photos you choose. A copy of each is kept in the app's private storage so your records survive even if the original is deleted from your gallery. The app never asks for access to your whole photo library, your camera, your contacts or your location.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app asks for permission to show notifications. The reminder is created on the device; nothing is sent anywhere. You can turn it off at any time.

Purchases

Pro (a yearly subscription) and the Transcript Pack (a one-time purchase) are sold through Google Play. Payment details go to Google, never to the app or the developer. If Pro ends, nothing is deleted.

Your control

• Export all my data (Settings) saves every record and photo to a file you choose.
• Delete all data (Settings) erases everything on the device at once. Uninstalling the app does the same.
