Darts Scorer & Checkout: Privacy Policy

In short

• No account, no sign-in, no online play and no server. Your matches, players and stats stay on your phone.
• No advertising, no analytics and no tracking code.
• What you type stays on your phone. The only thing that leaves it is what Google Play's own billing library sends to Google, described below, and anything you choose to share yourself.

What the app keeps on your phone

Stored only in the app's private storage:

• Player and team names you add.
• Every match you score: the game, its rules, and each score or dart keyed in, so a match can be resumed, undone and broken down leg by leg.
• Statistics worked out from finished matches (averages, checkouts, doubles hit rates and similar).
• Your settings, such as whether the caller is on and the last match set-up.

The publisher never receives any of it and cannot see, recover or delete it for you.

Permissions

The app itself asks for no permission. The Google Play Billing library adds four entries to the installed app: com.android.vending.BILLING, android.permission.INTERNET, android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, and a signature-level permission that protects the app's own internal broadcasts. The app's own code makes no network requests. There is no camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage permission.

The caller

When you turn on the caller, scores are spoken by the text-to-speech engine already on your phone. Speech is produced on the device; the app does not record or send audio.

Purchases (Google Play)

Darts Scorer Pro is a one-time purchase sold by Google Play. Google processes your payment; the app never sees your card or payment details. The app asks Google Play only whether your account owns Pro, so that Pro comes back on a new phone.

The Google Play Billing library sends diagnostic information about the billing connection to Google. In the Play Console Data safety form this is declared as: App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required. Google uses it to run and troubleshoot purchases. The publisher does not receive it and it is not used for advertising.

Backups

If Android backup is on for your Google account, Android may include the app's matches, players and settings in your own device backup, so they can move to a new phone. That backup is held by Google under your account and governed by Google's privacy policy; the publisher has no access to it. The cached Pro status is never backed up.

Sharing and exports

Nothing is shared unless you share it. A match summary image or PDF, or the "Export all my data" file, is created on your phone and handed to the app or place you pick. What happens next is governed by that app or service.

Deleting your data

Settings > Delete all data erases every match, player, statistic and setting and returns the app to a fresh install. Uninstalling the app also removes everything it stored. A Pro purchase is not affected: it belongs to your Google account and is restored from Google Play.

Children

The app is a scorekeeper for a pub and league game, rated for ages 13 and over. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at https://apps.digitalshijil.com/darts-scorer/privacy/ with a new effective date, and material changes will be noted in the release notes.
